Anna Artemyeva

About me:

Anna Artemyeva was born in Moscow where she studied at the art school and later studied painting, graphics, design and history of art in college. She has been practicing Buddhism since 1993 and learned thangka painting from the Dutch thangka artist Marianne Van Der horst. In 2000 the honorable Buddhist teacher Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche gave Annathe blessing to paint thangkas and since that time she has devoted herself to this work, doing it constantly. She has been a student of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang since 2002 and since 2006 she practices the Yuthok Nyingthig cycle of teachings and works ceaselessly, creating images for this glorious tradition of Yuthok Nyingthig.
